HOW KIWANIS SERVES THE COMMUNITY

St. Mary Kiwanis Club Scholarship
Description: The Kiwanis Club will offer a scholarship to Memorial High School graduating seniors who plan to attend either the Wright State Lake Campus in Celina or The Ohio State University branch campus in Lima. The basis of the award will be on emphasis of school attendance and service for school, family and community.
**This Scholarship is renewable for a second year.

Requirements: For MHS graduating senior students attending Wright State Lake Campus or Ohio State Lima.

Kiwanis sponsors the Auglaize Industies Aktion Club. 

Kiwanis has provided two children’s parks in St. Mary’s, one on Beech Street and Kiwanis Kuck’s Cove at the north end of Front Street. 

During 2003 Kiwanis established “Perfect Attendance” recognition.

Profits from the spring and fall Pancake Days, and other fundraising projects support the local community.

The club gives book scholarships to all graduating M.H.S seniors who begin their college education at Wright State University Lake Campus and OSU in Lima. 

Kiwanis supplies the city Swim Team with ribbons.

We host the annual Walk with Nature Fall Festival and other projects helping all walks of life from youth to senior citizens.  

We also have the Adopt-a-Highway and Adopt-a-Shoreline cleanup programs.  

St. Marys Kiwanis also supports and sponsors other activities on a one time or temporary basis at the request or as a need of the community.
